Country music is buzzing this week as Ella Langley and Riley Green clinched an early victory at the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards. Their duet, “You Look Like You Love Me,” won Visual Media of the Year, with the news announced by none other than Reba McEntire during their Country Thunder set in Tampa, Florida. The surprise video message from Reba brought the crowd to its feet, and Langley was recognized not only as an artist but also as a director for the award-winning music video.
This marks a breakout moment for Langley, who also learned-while performing at Rock the Country in Knoxville-that she’d been named New Female Artist of the Year, a surprise delivered by her friend Miranda Lambert. Lambert, herself a past winner in the same category, called Langley her “soul sister in country music and a partner in crime.”
With the 60th ACM Awards just around the corner and Reba McEntire set to return as host, all eyes are on Nashville to see what other surprises are in store for country’s biggest stars. For now, Ella Langley and Riley Green are riding high, and their fans have plenty to celebrate.
