New Zach Bryan Album Confirmed

May 3, 2024 - News

Zach Bryan has confirmed that he’ll be releasing a new album soon and revealed its title: The Great American Bar Scene.

“The record is called The Great American Bar Scene and I feel lucky to be breathin’,” Bryan wrote on Instagram last week alongside a snippet of a new acoustic song we’d like to hear right now.

Bryan has since shared more hints about the album, including another acoustic-driven teaser captioned “Betcha think’a when you’s younger.” In another video posted to Instagram this week starring Bryan’s behind-the-scenes team, he stated, “New album, soon.”

On Wednesday (1 May), Bryan shared another possible new lyric, writing, “Hurt ‘em so damn bad I had to hide in Jersey”. With that one, the Something In The Orange singer has given ammunition to Whiskey Riff, the publication that shared an April Fool’s Day prank and claimed Bryan had worked with Bruce Springsteen.

You can check out all the teasers below.

New music from Bryan has been coming for a long time, with the singer revealing that he was “about half done” with his next album on social media in January.

In addition to teasing on social media, Bryan has released new songs, 28 and Like Ida, on YouTube. After the success of his self-titled album, it’s fair to assume that whatever follows will be massive and draw even more listeners to country music.

Earlier this year, Bryan shared the Matthew McConaughey-starring music video for Nine Ball from his 2023 collaborative EP, Boys Of Faith, which features songs with Noah Kahan and Bon Iver.

In December, Bryan brought his in-demand show to Melbourne, Australia, for one night only as part of the Victorian Government’s live music initiative, ALWAYS LIVE. Backstage after the show, Bryan was exclaiming, “That was my loudest ever show,” referring to the volume of the crowd singalongs.
