Donald Trump Congratulates Patrick Mahomes And His “Beautiful And Brilliant” Wife Brittany On The Birth Of Their Third Child

Not really any secret who the president is rooting for in the Super Bowl.

President Donald Trump is expected to become the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl this weekend, heading down to New Orleans to catch the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles as a guest of New Orleans Saints owner Gayle Benson.

Asked earlier this week who he thought would win the game, Trump didn’t give a direct answer – though he did have high praise for Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes:

“I don’t want to say, but there’s a certain quarterback that seems to be a pretty good winner.”

Now, no disrespect to Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, but I’m pretty sure he was talking about Mahomes here. The president has long been a fan of Patrick – and more specifically, his wife Brittany – after it came out last year that Brittany Mahomes is apparently a Trump supporter.

Of course everybody remembers the outrage from Swifties when Taylor Swift’s friend Brittany liked a post from President Trump on Instagram, and began liking pro-Trump comments on her own posts.

Trump himself took notice, and praised Brittany Mahomes while thanking her for her support:

“I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country.

With Crime and Illegal Immigration totally out of control, INFLATION Ravaging all Americans, and a World that is laughing at the stupidity of our hapless “leaders,” it is nice to see someone who loves our Country, and wants to save it from DOOM. What a great couple – See you both at the Super Bowl!”

Well, he was right about that, he’ll be seeing them at the Super Bowl. And ahead of the game, Trump once again praised the couple and congratulated them on the birth of their new daughter, Golden Raye Mahomes, in a post on Truth Social last night:

“Congratulations to the Chiefs GREAT Quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, and his very beautiful and BRILLIANT wife, Brittany, on the birth of their new baby daughter, Golden Raye. This is what I call a baby with great genes, both mother and father. It’s happy times in the wonderful Mahomes family. See you all on Sunday!”

Now, Patrick has never really given any indication as to who he voted for in the 2024 election, but along with his wife, his mother also sported a MAGA hat during a game leading up to election day, so it’s probably safe to assume that the quarterback is probably a Trump supporter too.

Patrick and Brittany welcomed their third child into the world back on January 12, their second daughter along with 3-year old Sterling Skye, and their 2-year old son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III.

It’ll be interesting to see whether Brittany meets up with Trump while he’s in the Superdome for the game, but when asked about having Trump at the game, Patrick Mahomes seemed to want to stay out of politics:

“It’s always cool to be able to play in front of a sitting president, someone who’s at the top of our country.”

And he was flattered by the compliments from the president:

“I didn’t see that clip, but obviously it’s cool to hear that he’s seen me play football and respects the game that I play.”
