The political climate is still spicy after the inauguration. While it’s not uncommon for Republicans and Democrats to argue or have different perspectives on things, it seems that they are choosing some of the dumbest things to argue about lately.
But if there’s one thing we can agree on, it’s a puppy, right?
A CNN correspondent posted on X, sharing their new “intern” at the Pentagon. Of course, she’s not actually a CNN intern, this four-legged good girl named Rose serves as an Office of the Secretary of Defense – Public Affairs facility dog. The OSD-PA is responsible for providing official tours of the Pentagon and responding to media inquiries.
Haley Britzky, whose X handle says “Pentagon for CNN,” shared a picture of the adorable yellow lab holding a notepad and asked social media to be kind to Rose. After all, she is just an “intern.”
“If you see CNN’s newest intern in the Pentagon halls, please, be nice. She is still learning.”

Welp… they weren’t kind… but mostly towards CNN.
You’d think that his image would warrant many comments about how good for a girl Rose is and that she’s doing a great job learning her new role at the Pentagon, and all political association would be put aside.
But… a number of folks chimed in immediately with some rather comical DEI jokes. Most of them seemed to be sarcastic in nature, but a few came across as downright mean simply due to CNN’s political bias. Like seriously, do y’all not have anything better to do than to comment on a post ripping apart a dog? Rose can’t even speak for herself!
However, the absolute best part of the post was the number of strays that CNN caught for actually having someone honest and loyal on the supposed team.
Check out some of the replies to this post.
Finally, someone nice, loyal, and honest at CNN!

Of course, some cast the politics aside and gave Rose the recognition she deserved.

Approved! No probation before being hired on full time! Clearly responsible and polite. I see this candidate becoming the most popular of employees!
