This might just be the ultimate tour for country lovers (in more than one sense of the term) – a triple-headliner featuring joint performances from some of the cutest musician couples in Australia.
The adorably titled Country Love tour – sold on the poster as “the ultimate date night” – will see intimate theatre stages taken over by Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley, Jay and Mark O’Shea, and Felicity Urquhart and Josh Cunningham.
According to a press release, the one-of-a-kind Country Love show will deliver punters “more than just a concert” – we’re promised “a unique interactive experience blending hit songs from each couple’s repertoire with live fun games and audience participation”.
The trek will run over a single whirlwind weekend, starting on Friday December 13 at the Evan Theatre in Penrith. A show at Eaton’s Hill Hotel in Brisbane will follow the next evening (December 14), before things wrap up at the Twin Towns Services Club in Tweed Heads on the Sunday (December 15) afternoon.
