Muscadine Bloodline Delivers Harmony-Filled, Riverside Recording Of “10-90”

Muscadine Bloodline

Down by the river…

Originally released in August 2024 on their spectacular The Coastal Plain record, “10-90” is on its way to being Muscadine Bloodline’s next big hit. Not only has it been the most streamed song off of their latest record, but the tune was taken to country music radio a couple of weeks ago, and in it’s first week, it was the most added song. A largely unprecedented feat for an independent act, the reception to “10-90” has been a testimony to the hard work and authenticity of Muscadine Bloodline and the impressive brand they’ve built over the past decade by doing things their own way.

Recorded on the banks of the Greenbrier River in West Virginia, independent country music powerhouse comprised of Gary Stanton and Charlie Muncaster deliver a flawless rendition of their latest love song “10-90,” and the harmonies are on the chorus are about as good as it gets.

Check out the video below, as well as the commentary RadioWV provided along with it on their YouTube channel.

“I have been listening to these guys for a while now… I had them on my playlist before I ever decided to start doing radiowv, like many others, I had found them through their song ‘Porch Swing Angel.’ They were playing the WV State Fair with Charles Wesley Godwin this past summer so I was able to catch up with them and record ’10-90′ with them on the side of the Greenbrier River.

They have blazed their own  path in a grassroots way, and have built their following on the road ‘fan by fan.’ They honed in on singing harmonies and developing their musical ability in church growing up, a few years after high school each of them were trying their hand at performing shows around their hometown of Mobile, AL.

They decided to combine their musical efforts into a joint venture after they played a few shows together and the rest is history.”

What a song, what a video, what a band. These guys just don’t miss.

Champions of the independent, underrated, and underrepresented, RadioWV has been a catalyst in the careers of some of the genre’s most promising up and coming acts, and has had a huge impact on the rise of Appalachian and Americana artists within the national country music landscape.

The platform may be best known for the mega-viral “Rich Men North of Richmond” music video with Oliver Anthony, which currently has 189 million views on YouTube, but there have been plenty of other viral videos, albeit on a much smaller scale, that have been posted over the years, providing some major exposure for relatively unknown artists.

Videos of Nolan Taylor performing “68,” Logan Halstead’s “Dark Black Coal,” Drayton Farley’s “Pitchin’ Fits,” and Jake Kohn’s “Frostbite,” have all experienced their viral moments that served as launchpad’s for their careers.

And while Muscadine Bloodline has been an established act for several years before appearing on the page, their latest video with RadioWV is no exception… these boys are the real deal.
