HARDY Covers Snoop Dogg's 'Gin & Juice'

April 18, 2024 - News

Today, HARDY has shocked the country and rap music world with his surprise cover of Snoop Dogg’s Gin & Juice.

Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg tapped the American country rock singer to create a completely authentic version of Gin & Juice, featuring a banjo, drums, and HARDY’s effortless vocal drawl.

The REDNECKER singer respects the original, not playing Gin & Juice for laughs and even channels some vocal modification in the chorus. Don’t believe the cover exists yet? You can check out HARDY’s version of Gin & Juice below.

Gin & Juice isn’t just a song; it’s a brand: specifically, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s new ready-to-drink, pre-mixed product. HARDY has kicked off the campaign for the product and song, which will launch next month.

Dr. Dre said about the new beverage (via Food Manufacturing), “Together, we always try to create magic. We’re having fun being creative, and everything about this product is really us. There’s passion behind it, and friendship, love, and a culture. We’re shooting to make everything we do magnificent, and fortunately, most of the time, we hit the target.”

Snoop Dogg added, “Look where we’re at in our careers. Look at our age and what we’ve done, and we still love each other, so why not do something together?

“A lot of times, people have been in a relationship for 30 years and can’t talk to each other, can’t hang out, so it’s just fun to be in a partnership with people that you actually love.”

Earlier this month, HARDY proved his genre-defying work ethic when he joined forces with Nickelback for a performance of Truck Bed, Rock Star, and How You Remind Me on CMT Crossroads.

Last year, HARDY won three of his four nominations at the ACM Awards: Artist-Songwriter Of The Year, Music Event Of The Year and Visual Media Of The Year (the latter two for his collaborative single with Lainey WilsonWait In The Truck), while he lost out on the award for Song Of The Year to Cole Swindell.
